A campus-wide network for the University of Mkar
A campus-wide wireless network for the University of Mkar, built on MikroTik equipment, with a captive portal that controls access for everyone who connects.
Wi-Fi across the whole campus
Students and staff at a university need to get online wherever they work, not only in a few connected buildings. We designed and built a mesh network of MikroTik access points that carries the university’s connection across the campus, so coverage extends from one area to the next without a cable to every point.
Controlled access through a captive portal
An open network on a busy campus is hard to manage. A captive portal asks each person to sign in before they can use the network, giving the university control over who connects and how its internet capacity is shared.
