From the information a university’s leaders need to a social protection system for two states, our projects begin with the work an organisation needs to do. Explore how we have helped clients bring their information together, develop digital services and build the infrastructure behind them.
Education
Bringing a university’s information together
A federal university held its data across separate offices and spreadsheets. We developed an information system that brings those records together and gives management dashboards for reviewing the data.
CCTV installation for a university research centre
We delivered a CCTV surveillance system for a federal university research centre, supplying and installing the equipment under a contract awarded in September 2024.
For a state university research centre, we built a data centre network with two core routers that back each other up. The project continued our work with the university on its network audit, backup power and network equipment.
Remodelling and managing a federal agency’s headquarters network
Our work for a federal agency began with an audit of its headquarters LAN in 2021. We went on to remodel the network and have managed it since, and we have now completed the deployment of the full network in the headquarters’ new wing.
In 2018, a state internal revenue service preparing to move its systems to the cloud engaged us to design the architecture for that transition. We set out how its applications would be hosted, secured and moved from the existing environment, then managed the deployment through to completion.
An integrated social protection system for Borno and Adamawa
For GIZ’s Digital Convergence Initiative technical assistance in Nigeria, our principal consultant led the design of an integrated social protection management information system for the two pilot states, Borno and Adamawa. Requirements developed with 18 institutions were confirmed at a validation workshop and demonstrated in a working prototype.
Digital services for Rotary International District 9127
Since 2024 we have built the digital platform that Rotary International District 9127 runs on. Its public website handles events, giving and membership, while the rid9127.org hub brings 25 applications together, from event check-in and Wi-Fi to membership, learning and conference management, alongside ClubManager, the accounting software its clubs use for their books.
Bluestreams works with Nigerian communities through savings, financial education and everyday services. Its website brings those activities together, introducing the business and giving visitors ways to explore its services and contact the team.
The Wanda Adu Foundation supports vulnerable women and children in Nigeria. Its website introduces the foundation’s programmes, shares stories from the people it serves and explains how visitors can get involved.
We built a campus-wide wireless network for the University of Mkar, a private university, using MikroTik equipment. A mesh of access points carries the connection across the campus, and a captive portal manages how students, staff and visitors sign in.
We designed, built and deployed a private data centre for PGL Nigeria, giving the organisation its own facility for the servers, storage and network equipment its operations depend on.
We designed and built a website for the Nigerian Association of Women in Agriculture (NAWIA), bringing its work, programmes and resources into a public presence shaped in close collaboration with the organisation.
If you are planning a new application, connecting offices or replacing spreadsheets, tell us what needs to change and who will use the result. We can discuss the requirements and what it would take to build it.
